**Majestic Woof Meals**
While many facilities advertise free house food as part of their boarding benefits, MWL doesn't feel this benefits' anyone; least of all your Majestic WOOF. A sudden change in diet can be bad for our dogs, especially when it’s happening during an already stressful time of missing their favorite people.
To reduce the potential for stomach upset, vomiting or diarrhea during your pups stay, MWL requires Owners to bring their own food.
Please bring an adequate supply of dog food for your pet(s) in zip-lock bags or a plastic sealable container. You’ll want to pack some extra food just in case something annoyingly unexpected interferes with your travel schedule. Flights are delayed or connections missed and stays are extended for a multitude of crazy reasons. If this happens, you’ll want to make sure your pup has enough food to hold him over until you return. The last thing you want is an unexpected extension to turn into a bigger upset tummy for your pup & your family upon your return, This should be a joyful reunion full of fun and frolic!!

DON'T PANIC OR STRESS!!!! Unexpected emergencies happen and we're here to help maintain the sanity, minimize the damages and MOST IMPORTANTLY take care of Fido! MWL has an emergency crate and temporary exterior fenced areas to work with.
It'll all work out after slobbery kisses and butt scratches.... for your majestic WOOF of course!

BRINGING YOUR WOOF HOME!
4 professional tips!
-
TAKE YOUR DOG FOR A WALK FIRST
Stop and take some time to allow your dog to relieve themselves first.house-trained pooch..When bringing your dog home from MWL, your instinct is probably to take your dog straight into your home after picking her up, but if you want to avoid any accidents in the house, it’s best to walk your dog up and down your block (or even just around your yard) before you head indoors. The excitement of seeing & your house again can bring on an overactive bladder in even the most perfectly -
HOLD OFF ON DOG FOOD
Even if it’s your pet’s normal dinner time, it’s best to wait at least an hour after arriving back home from dog boarding before offering your dog food. All of that tail wagging and jumping for joy at the site off their favorite people can make your pup’s stomach do flip-flops. That kind of excitement tends to make dogs eat more quickly, which can easily become a recipe for disaster. Wait until your pup has calmed down before offering any food. If your dog is especially agitated or is normally a fast eater, you might even split the normal amount of food you’d give for one meal into two smaller meals. -
LIMIT YOUR DOG’S H2O INTAKE
Lots of happy panting, plus the car ride home, means that your pooch will likely build up a powerful thirst. Just as with food though, slurping down an entire bowl of water too quickly can lead to unwelcome stomach issues. Rather than letting your dog drink as much as they want in one go, because they'll want it all, limit the amount of water you put in his bowl at first. Another option that’s especially good for smaller dogs (and for playful puppies who can turn anything into a game) is offering ice cubes for your pet to chase around and lick. Let your pup relax after coming home from with some ice cubes that will keep her hydrated without drinking water too quickly! -
LET YOUR DOG SLEEP IT OFF
If your dog seems a little more pooped than usual the first few days after returning home from staying at Majestic WOOF Lodge, don’t stress too much about it. With the activities at the facility, the excitement of seeing you again and the extra flurry of activity surrounding coming home, your majestic WOOF needs more shut-eye than usual.
